If you have a gluten intolerance or Celiac Disease you must be careful of all glutens.  That includes topical glutens that you place on your skin.  It also includes glutens that you ingest (even if you do not swallow the product that contains glutens).  Toothpaste is a product that can contain glutens.  When selecting toothpaste research the manufacturer and make certain that the product you are selecting is gluten free.  The Tom’s brand appears on many gluten free product websites.  Toothpaste is not exciting. BUT it is worth the effort to avoid glutens!

Gluten free does not mean giving up carbohydrates.  I enjoy raisin bread made with Glutino Gluten free flour, raisins, cinnamon, apples and nutmeg.  My bread is tasty and moist.  I enjoy the bread topped with butter or cream cheese.  This flour is good for baking bread.

Barilla’s gluten free pasta is quite tasty.  I was initially hesitant to try the pasta, but I was pleasantly surprised.  The pasta did not have any after taste.  It held the shape of the elbow after cooking. I also enjoy the flavor of the pasta without anything on it.  I used this pasta in a dish that had red sauce and mozzarella cheese.  The next time I use this pasta, it will be in a macaroni salad.  I will definitely purchase this pasta again.
